Ratingen (dpa / lnw) - On the Autobahn 3 shortly after the Breitscheid junction near Ratingen, a driver overturned his car on Wednesday evening.
The man had to be flown to hospital with serious injuries, the fire brigade and police announced.
The car was recovered lying on the roof.
The cause of the accident was initially unclear.
The driver touched another car for unknown reasons and then lost control of his vehicle, said a police spokesman.
