Hamburg (dpa / lno) - Corona vaccinations should also be offered by the Hamburg family doctors from this week on.
The Hamburg Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians wants to announce details of the planned vaccination campaign on Tuesday.
The vaccine will be delivered by Wednesday, said a spokesman for the association.
According to earlier information from the health authority, people between the ages of 75 and 80 are now to be vaccinated.
Nationwide, 35,000 general practitioners' practices are to take part, as Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn (CDU) announced before Easter.
For the first week, the practices have therefore ordered 1.4 million cans.
According to the plans of the federal and state governments, 940,000 cans are to be delivered.
In the first two weeks, only the vaccine from Biontech / Pfizer will be used in the practices, it said.
