March 24, 2021 Brazil exceeds 300,000 deaths from Covid-19. Local media revealed this, citing sources from the health secretariats of 10 out of 27 states. According to partial data, the victims are 300,015 compared to 12,183,338 infections ascertained since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Ministry of Health has meanwhile announced that it has withdrawn the disputed data collection system on infections and deaths announced today, which the government intends to serve to lower the numbers of the pandemic.
