Schwerin (AP) - After the surprising victory in the first game on Wednesday, the Bundesliga volleyball players of VfB Suhl have the second duel of the "best-of-three" series of the playoff quarter-finals against Schweriner SC 1: 3 (25: 23, 15:25, 16:25, 18:25) lost.

In the Palmberg Arena in Schwerin, the Suhlers only won the first set on Saturday after they had been behind with three points (15:18) on their first technical break.

On the Suhl sideline, VfB head coach Laszlo Hollosy was represented by his co-Lukasz Marciniak after he saw his third red card of the season on Wednesday and was banned from a game according to the rules of the volleyball Bundesliga.

After the first set, however, the Suhlers could no longer act with the same pressure, made too many simple mistakes and too rarely managed to use the fast game over the middle.

Attacker Danielle Harbin, who scored a fabulous 33 points for VfB in the first game, set a few pinpricks, but overall the US-American was unable to set the decisive accents.

On the other hand, the improved surcharges compared to Wednesday put the Suhl acceptance under pressure.
