Schwerin (AP) - VfB Suhl lost the playoff quarter-finals of the women's volleyball Bundesliga 0: 3 (16:25, 13:25, 14:25) at Schweriner SC.
This ends the season for coach Laszlo Hollosy's team after they qualified for the qualifying games with sixth main round rankings.
As in the second game of the best-of-three series on Saturday, which was lost 3-1, the Suhlers never managed to exert the pressure on their opponents necessary for this level on Sunday evening.
Both the too often devious serves, the not as varied as usual attacking game, the easily calculated pass and the often incorrectly positioned block made it too easy for the hosts of Suhl's former coach Felix Koslowski to go through with their game.
The SSC will now face Allianz Stuttgart in the semifinals.
