It was at the end of October that the police conducted a house search in an apartment in Stadsdel Norr in Östersund.

During the house search, 2.1 kilos of explosives and a 9 mm pistol were found.

In the apartment lives a 32-year-old man who has a huge criminal record.

Six people, five men and one woman, are charged with violating the law on flammable and explosive goods.

All have handled the explosive, which is suspected to have been transported from Ånge to Östersund on the same day as the house search was made.

One of the accused, a 32-year-old man, was previously charged in another case of explosives.

In that case, which concerned the discovery of explosives in Torvalla, the 32-year-old was completely acquitted by the district court.

Three of the persons, the 32-year-old, the woman and a man in their 20s are also charged with a felony.

Two men are charged with aiding and abetting a serious gun crime for having mediated contacts between sellers and buyers of the pistol.

The 32-year-old has admitted in interrogation that he had the explosive and the gun in his apartment.

But he believes that the crime is not serious.

Otherwise, he has not had any comments on police questions.
