Arms dealer from Baden-Württemberg: Raid on suspected Reich citizen. Several hundred firearms, weapon parts and ammunition seized during the raid.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated and the police are investigating. So-called Reich citizens are people who do not recognize the Federal Republic and its democratic structures. The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution estimated that the scene had around 23,000 followers nationwide in 2022, which is around 2,000 more than in 2021. The scene has an average age of around 53 years. Over half of all followers are older than 50 years.
