Charlie Dalin, again at the head of the Vendée Globe, slightly increased his lead on Wednesday over his runner-up Yannick Bestaven as the head of the fleet, made up of nine tightly grouped boats, approaches Recife (Brazil).
Dalin (Apivia) advances Wednesday at the end of the day with a 16.8 nautical mile (31 km) gap over Bestaven (Maître Coq IV).
In third position, Louis Burton (Bureau Vallée 2) has maintained its 21 nm (39 km) delay on Dalin since the start of the day.
