Berlin (dpa / bb) - The number of new corona infections in Berlin remains at a high level.
1656 new cases (previous day: 1123) were reported within 24 hours, according to the health administration's status report on Thursday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 76 210 corona cases have been recorded in Berlin.
Of these, 55,660 are considered recovered.
Compared to the previous day, 19 more deaths have been reported after corona infections, the total number of deaths has risen to 768.
The corona traffic light is still red for two indicators: With 201.0 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days, the limit of 30 is still clearly exceeded.
In addition, the occupancy rate of the intensive care beds with Covid 19 patients remains high: The value is 27.6 percent and thus above the critical level of 25 percent.
With the number of reproductions, the traffic light shows green, the value is 0.87.
