Berlin (dpa / bb) - The number of new corona infections in Berlin remains at a high level.
1123 cases were reported within 24 hours, according to the health administration's report on Wednesday.
On the Wednesday of the previous week it was 958.
Since the pandemic began, 74 554 corona cases have been recorded in Berlin.
Of these, 54 170 people are considered recovered.
Compared to the previous day, 17 more deaths have been reported after corona infections, the total number of deaths has risen to 749.
The Corona traffic light is still red for two indicators: With 193.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days, the limit of 30 is still clearly exceeded.
