"On December 8, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Dmitry A. Bayramov," the statement on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry says.
It is noted that the parties discussed the implementation of the provisions of the Statement of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia of November 9.
Lavrov and Bayramov also discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda.
Earlier, Sergey Lavrov said that the Russian side, through its peacekeepers in Karabakh, would facilitate the exchange of prisoners.
