Russia considers China's initiative for a Ukrainian settlement more realistic than Vladimir Zelensky’s “peace formula.” This was stated in an interview with TASS by the head of the second department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Alexey Polishchuk. It was also reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed the situation around Ukraine in a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced the advantages of the plan proposed by China for Ukraine.
