Corona vaccination campaign launched in Moscow

 Today, Saturday, the Russian capital, Moscow, launched a vaccination campaign against the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) with the "Sputnik V" vaccine in clinics, and so far 70 vaccination clinics have been opened, and 100 others will open until the end of the year.

The vaccination in the first phase will be intended for the most vulnerable groups of workers in education, health care and social services in the city, according to the Russian "RT" channel.

Yesterday, Friday, the Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, announced that 5 thousand people had registered their requests electronically to receive vaccination against Corona virus in the city during the first five hours after the registration door opened.

Moscow is the largest epicenter of the Corona virus in Russia, as the number of infections reached 6,868 on Friday, followed by Petersburg, where the number of new infections reached 3,700.
