05 November 2020 Napoli wins in comeback (1-2) in Croatia against Rijeka.

Group F of the Europa League becomes a tight fight between three: Neapolitans at 6 with Real Sociedad and Az Alkmaar (in the other match the Basques won 1-0 against the Dutch), Croatians still at zero.

Gattuso lines up a trident with Politano-Petagna-Mertens. The start is not happy for the Neapolitans: on the 4 'Meret saves on Menalo, but already on the 13' he capitulates on a left by Muric's first intention. After two more saves by Meret on Muric and Kulenovic, Napoli presses towards the end of the time: Mertens does not find the door in the 37th minute, in the 43rd minute comes the draw with Demme, well served by the Belgian forward. In the second half the Neapolitans risk at the start (49 ', Menalo's pole), then dominate. At 57 'Mertens hits the crossbar with a free kick, at 60' Gattuso puts in Insigne, fresh from yet another injury, at 62 'the overtaking on an own goal by Braut, propitiated by a treacherous cross from Mario Rui. At a disadvantage, Rijeka shows all its limits, Napoli controls quite easily until the triple whistle even going close to the trio (Demme touches the brace in the 85th minute, Nevistic saves on Zielinski in the 86th minute, Lozano misses the impact for a breath at 90 ').
