The Minister of National Education announced Thursday the strengthening of the health protocol in high schools, including more distance courses.

Education Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer announced Thursday that the health protocol in high schools would be strengthened, by authorizing more distance learning provided that at least 50% of face-to-face teaching is retained for each student.

"It is important that each student is present at least half of school time," he wrote to school heads and teachers in a letter which AFP has obtained a copy. The rest of the time, each establishment can set up a "reception in half-groups", "by level" or "remote work one or two days a week", he adds.
