Interim government in eastern Libya has submitted its resignation

RIA Novosti informs about it with reference to the statement of the legislative assembly.

The text of the statement of the parliament indicates that its head, Agila Saleh, held an urgent meeting with the head of the interim government of Libya, Abdullah at-Thani and a number of other high-ranking officials of the executive branch in the east of the country.

“The Libyan government has submitted a letter of resignation to His Excellency the Speaker of Parliament.

It will be submitted to the Council (House of Representatives) for consideration, ”the message says.

Earlier, the US Embassy in Libya reported that the Libyan National Army (LNA) conveyed to the American authorities the assurance of Marshal Khalifa Haftar about the full restoration of the energy sector and the resumption of oil production.
