　　Zhu Fenglian said: We are firmly opposed to the United States selling arms to Taiwan in China and opposing any form of military contact between Taiwan and the United States. The DPP authorities' "independence by force" will not succeed, it will only undermine the peace and stability of the Taiwan Strait and bring greater disaster to the people of Taiwan.
