A majority of French people (55%) want Edouard Philippe to remain Prime Minister after his victory in Le Havre on Sunday in the second round of the municipal elections, according to a poll.
On the contrary, 44% of those questioned on Sunday evening wanted a change of tenant in Matignon, according to a Harris interactive survey for TF1, LCI and RTL.
70% of those polled want a cabinet reshuffle. If this took place, 67% of those questioned would like to see ministers from civil society and 59% of EELV ministers in the new government, after the green wave that swept through municipal elections.
According to another Ipsos Sopra Steria poll for FranceTV, Radio France, LCP and Public Sénat, 43% of those polled want Emmanuel Macron to make a limited reshuffle while keeping Edouard Philippe, 24% that he continue with the Prime Minister and the current team and 33% that it changes its head of government.
Harris interactive survey carried out online on June 28 between 8:05 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. among 2,133 people aged 18 and over, using the quota method.
Ipsos Sopra Steria survey carried out online on June 26 and 27 among 3,004 people aged 18 and over, using the quota method.
