A majority of French people (55%) want Edouard Philippe to remain Prime Minister after his victory this Sunday in Le Havre in the second round of the municipal elections, according to a poll. On the contrary, 44% of those questioned on Sunday evening wanted a change of tenant in Matignon, according to a Harris interactive survey for TF1, LCI and RTL.

70% of those polled want a cabinet reshuffle. If this took place, 67% of those questioned would like to see ministers from civil society and 59% of EELV ministers in the new government, after the green wave that swept through municipal elections.

Almost 30% for a change of government

According to another Ipsos Sopra Steria poll for FranceTV, Radio France, LCP and Public Sénat, 43% of those polled want Emmanuel Macron to make a limited reshuffle while keeping Edouard Philippe, 24% that he continue with the Prime Minister and the current team and 33% that it changes its head of government.
