Egypt recorded the highest daily death toll from the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), which reached 510 positive cases, and the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced today, Sunday, that 222 of those infected with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, after Receive the necessary medical care and complete recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total number of people recovering from the virus to 3172 cases until today.

The ministry's official spokesman, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement posted on his page on the social networking site "Facebook", that the number of cases in which the results of laboratory analyzes turned from positive to negative for Corona virus (Covid-19) rose to 3,742 cases, including the 3,172 recovering.

He added that 510 new cases that proved positive for laboratory analyzes of the virus were recorded, as part of the ministry's surveillance and investigation procedures according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 18 new cases.

Mujahid said that all recorded cases of HIV positive in isolation and quarantine hospitals are subject to medical care, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization.

"Mujahid" stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until Sunday, is 12,229 cases, of whom 3172 cases were cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 630 deaths.
