On Tuesday, Egypt recorded the highest daily death toll from the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), amounting to 720 positive cases in one day, in addition to 14 new deaths.
Today, Tuesday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced that 302 people infected with the Corona virus have been discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 3,742 cases until today.
The ministry's spokesperson, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, explained that the number of cases whose laboratory results have been transformed from positive to negative for Corona virus (Covid-19) increased to 4,275 cases, including the 3742 recovered.
He added that 720 new cases that proved positive for laboratory analysis of the virus were recorded, as part of the ministry's surveillance and investigation procedures according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 14 new cases.
"Mujahid" said that all cases recorded positive for the virus in isolation and quarantine hospitals are subject to medical care, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization. "Mujahid" stated that the total number registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Tuesday, is 13,484 cases, including 3,742 Case recovered and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 659 deaths.
