The US President affirmed that 20 states representing 40% of the country want to return to work, calling on the House of Representatives to expedite the approval of the new aid package.

He added, "We sympathize with the families who lost their loved ones due to the pandemic, and discussed with the New York Governor the expansion of Corona tests in the state."

On the other hand, US Treasury Secretary Stephen Manuchin stressed that liquidity will be provided in the markets to reopen the country, noting that the new aid package was made possible thanks to the cohesion of Congress.

The US Senate approved Tuesday evening a new emergency aid package worth 480 billion dollars to support small companies severely affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, financing hospitals suffering from the epidemic, and intensifying laboratory tests to detect the emerging coronavir virus.

The new plan, which has bipartisan support and support from President Donald Trump, provides for the allocation of $ 320 billion to provide subsidized loans to companies employing less than 500 people, $ 75 billion to help hospitals and $ 25 billion to fund laboratory tests of the emerging corona virus and $ 60 billion Dollars to provide subsidized loans to other economic sectors hard hit by the epidemic, especially agriculture.
