Yesterday, the Lebanese Parliament began a three-day legislative session, amid tight precautionary measures, fearing the new Corona virus, which necessitated moving the meeting to a conference hall in Beirut, with MPs observing social divergence and protection measures.

The session coincides with car demonstrations called by the demonstrators against the political class, to confirm their continued mobility, and to protest the absence of urgent living conditions on the agenda, despite the general mobilization that has lasted for more than a month.

Lebanon has officially registered 677 cases of the epidemic, including 21 deaths. And the spread of the virus forced Parliament to transfer its sessions to the UNESCO Palace, in a hall that can accommodate nearly 1,000 people, achieving social divergence.

On the other hand, the Federal Ministry of Health in Sudan announced yesterday that it had registered 15 new cases of the emerging coronavirus, bringing the total cases of the virus in the country to 107 cases.

The ministry said, in a statement, that no new deaths have been recorded, so that the total deaths to date have settled at 12 cases.

She noted that the total number of injuries, which were similar to recovery, was eight.

In Rabat, the Moroccan Ministry of Health announced yesterday that it recorded a new death from the Corona virus, taking the total death toll from the virus in the country to 144 cases.

The ministry indicated that 140 new cases were recorded, bringing the total to 3186 cases.

In Ramallah, the Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai Alkila, said yesterday that "a new death from the Corona virus was recorded in the city of Jerusalem for a woman, which raises the total deaths in the Palestinian territories to four new cases of the Corona virus, during the past 24 hours." The minister said: "The total number of infections (with HIV) in Palestine reached 461, after the number of cases inside the city of Jerusalem rose to 132."
