Today, Monday, the Lebanese Hezbollah announced that one of its members was killed in border clashes with the occupation forces in southern Lebanon, and launched a drone attack on an Israeli air defense headquarters in the occupied Golan, while the occupation army announced that it bombed a Hezbollah position and targeted militants in Shebaa Farms.

In a brief statement, the party mourned Ali Muhammad Zein Bilal, born in 1991 from the town of Sohmar in the Western Bekaa, bringing the party’s death toll to 240 since the eighth of last October.

In solidarity with the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to continuous Israeli aggression since the 7th of last October, Hezbollah and Palestinian factions in Lebanon have exchanged daily bombardments with the Israeli army since the 8th of the same month.

Yesterday, Sunday, the Al-Fajr Forces - the military wing of the Islamic Group - mourned 3 of its leaders, saying they were martyred while performing their jihadist duty in southern Lebanon.

Attacking an air base in the Golan

Today, Monday, Hezbollah also announced launching a drone attack on an Israeli air defense headquarters in the occupied Golan Heights.

The party confirmed that its forces targeted the air and missile defense headquarters in the Kaila barracks with 4 marches, and announced that it hit the targets accurately, according to its description.

The party stated that the operation comes "in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant resistance."

The Kila barracks of the Israeli army is about 15 kilometers from the Lebanese border.

On the other hand, the party said that its fighters targeted the Jal al-Alam site with appropriate weapons and achieved a direct hit.

He also reported that his fighters targeted a gathering of occupation soldiers in Tallet Al-Tihat (off the Lebanese town of Mays Al-Jabal) with “appropriate weapons,” and announced that a “direct hit” had been achieved.

Israeli bombing

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation army announced that its fighters bombed a Hezbollah military site in the Al-Jabayn area, and during the night it attacked another military site in the Al-Taybeh area.

He added that he attacked what he said was a group of armed men with anti-tank missiles in the Shebaa Farms area in southern Lebanon.

The occupation forces spokesman said that reconnaissance forces spotted the militants, and that fighter jets raided their locations in the area, noting that during the morning hours a Hezbollah plane was spotted crashing in an open area near Mount Hermon without causing any casualties or damage.

He also confirmed the observation of two drones that crossed Lebanese territory towards the Upper Galilee, and landed in open areas north of the occupied Syrian Golan.

Alarm sirens sounded this morning in the occupied Golan, fearing infiltration of marches.

For its part, the Lebanese News Agency reported that Tallet Hamams (south) was subjected to Israeli artillery shelling, and that warplanes launched a raid on a house in the town of Al-Jabain, without announcing any casualties.

The agency explained that today, Monday, an Israeli march dropped leaflets over villages in southern Lebanon, inciting residents against Hezbollah, claiming that it was placing its weapons stores and its members among residential areas.

This is not the first time that Israel has dropped leaflets inciting residents of the southern border against Hezbollah or warning them against it.

As a result of these confrontations, 240 members of Hezbollah, 11 of the Amal Movement, 12 of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), and 12 of Islamic Jihad were killed, in addition to 47 Lebanese civilians, an army soldier, and a member of the Internal Security Forces, while 6 Israeli civilians were killed. And 11 soldiers, according to monitoring by Anadolu Agency.

Meanwhile, the Israeli war on Gaza left tens of thousands of civilian victims, most of them children and women, a humanitarian catastrophe, massive destruction, and famine that began claiming the lives of children and the elderly, according to Palestinian and UN data.

Israel insists on continuing the war despite its first appearance since its establishment in 1948 before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing genocide against the Palestinians.
