Ibrahim Al Jarwan, a member of the Arab Federation for Space and Astronomy, expected that the blessed month of Ramadan will come on Friday (April 24), while fasting hours in his early days will reach 14 hours and 25 minutes.

Al-Jarwan told «Emirates Today» that “the crescent of Ramadan 1441 is born on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 06:26, and the crescent will be with sunset at a height of 3 degrees above the western horizon and set at 20 minutes after sunset.”

He added that the conditions of visual vision are improving in the western regions of the Arabian Peninsula, and the opportunity to monitor it is to be Friday, April 24, the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1441 AH.

He pointed out that the longest days of fasting in the month of Ramadan will be the last day of it, as the length of the fasting period will reach 14 hours and 57 minutes, and the shortest days will be its first days, as the length of the fasting period will reach 14 hours and 25 minutes.

Al-Jarwan expected that the moon of the month of Shawwal 1441 AH will be born on Friday, May 22nd, at 21:39, i.e. after sunset, and Saturday evening, May 24th, will be seen on the morning of Shawwal.
