March 13, 2020 In order to contain the health emergency and avoid any possible occasion of concentration of people, by order of the mayor Virginia Raggi the immediate closure of villas, playgrounds and fenced public parks in Rome was ordered.

The measure, valid until March 25, is aimed at combating the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus.

Non-fenced areas and parks, such as Villa Borghese, where an increase in controls to verify compliance with the provisions set by the Dpcm of 11 March 2019 are excluded from the provision.
