The American University of Ras Al Khaimah revealed that students' tests are done "remotely" via the virtual system for 1000 students in 22 majors, where attendance and absence of students will be recorded by following their activities through the virtual system, as a precautionary measure to limit the spread of the new Corona virus.
The university explained to «Emirates Today» that after the Ministry of Education’s decision to introduce the spring vacation to begin on the eighth of March for a period of four weeks, provided that the last two weeks start with the process of “distance education” through the use of simulation techniques and visual communication technology among students And faculty members; the faculty members will give lectures and take exams for students using the university's system of virtual learning "remotely" through the student portal through the university's website prepared in advance to face similar conditions and crises, to ensure the continuity of the education system .
She added that the university has developed a mobile application that includes a virtual education system to facilitate access to the system at any time.
She explained that all student activities and celebrations on campus were canceled, including trips, competitions, festivals and activities.
