The Belgian government announced Thursday evening the closings of schools, shops and nightclubs to fight the spread of Covid-19. In addition, all gatherings "regardless of their size" are canceled.

Schools, cafes, restaurants, nightclubs will be closed in Belgium in order to fight against the spread of the new coronavirus, and all rallies canceled "regardless of their size", Belgian Prime Minister Sophie Wilmès announced on Thursday evening.
