This measure will take effect on Sunday the theoretical resumption of classes in Algeria. For Azzi Abdelmalek, national coordinator of CNES, the National Council of Higher Education Teachers, the decision is good: " I sincerely think that the decision is entirely correct, the decision to close universities and schools, since it acts of national security, as is the case in many countries. Other countries have already taken these measures, these measures. Whatever the differences, whatever the provisions, when it comes to national security, we have to agree. So we have no choice. "

A measure which at first should not have much impact on the school programs: " It does not really have a big impact, because normally, the holidays are in a week. So we will have lost a week of teaching ... (Regarding) the consequences that contamination by the virus could have, that has nothing to do, I think. "

Not much use of digital technologies

" Some teachers who have already integrated the digital tool, the Internet tool, into their teaching, will be able to continue working with students, but this is not the case for the majority of teachers, " adds Azzi Abdelmalek.
