She noted that synchronization is due to an increase in the cost of living.

“Additional funds will be included in the budget,” Pavlova emphasized.

According to her, the working group is reviewing the entire structure of the consumer basket, participation of representatives of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science in it will make it possible to review the composition of the consumer basket “with an emphasis on healthy and proper nutrition”.

Earlier, Russian Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov said that the department intends to form a new structure of the consumer basket by January 1, 2021.

On January 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the need to revise the structure of the consumer basket, since it lacks vegetables, fruits, fish and meat.
