In a statement published on the agency’s website, it says that “the patient from the first day in Tyumen has been in the boxed ward of the infectious diseases hospital, people from close contact have also been hospitalized”, and “all other possible contact persons are under medical supervision”.

“The disease proceeds in a mild clinical form, as of January 31, the condition is satisfactory, there are no complaints,” the department said.

It is also emphasized that "a full range of anti-epidemic measures has been organized aimed at preventing the spread of infection."

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that two cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Russia, both patients are Chinese citizens.
