Officially announced the exit of Britain from the European Union, and on this occasion, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson delivered a speech to the nation in which he said that his country's exit from the European Union (Brexit) is not the end but the beginning of a new chapter in his country's great march.

He stressed that "whatever obstacles are on the way, I know we will succeed," stressing that "the most important thing tonight is to say that it is not the end but the beginning, it is the moment of dawn and the start of a new chapter in our great national march."

Johnson stressed that Brexit would be a "brilliant success", as his country prepares to start tough negotiations with the European Union over their future trade relationship.

"We want this to be the beginning of a new era of friendly cooperation between the European Union and Britain, which is full of energy," he said.

And begins later in the day, Saturday, a transitional phase that ends at the end of this year, during which Britain remains committed to European laws, including the freedom of movement of trade and individuals.

And it is expected that the British capital will witness huge demonstrations of Brexit supporters in Parliament Square, while opponents of leaving the union will organize demonstrations in front of the government headquarters.

And previously the British flag was lowered from the headquarters of the European Council in the Belgian capital, Brussels, and the seat of the European Parliament in the French city of Strasbourg, marking the imminence of its exit from the Union.
