The PNS emphasized that they "have the legal right to respond in the event of any attack or aggression of the other side."
Earlier, the Libyan National Army (LNA) Marshal Khalifa Haftar announced the cessation of hostilities in western Libya.
Later, the PNS and LNA accused each other of violating the silence regime.
