The Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, Commissioner-General of the Citizen Services Path, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, chaired a meeting in the presence of the Director General of the Community Development Authority Ahmed Abdul Karim Julfar, the Director General of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai Dr. Hamad bin Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, and a number of officials from both sides, within Meetings of the Citizens Services Path, and in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, which His Highness ordered in the decisions to form the “Dubai Council” with the beginning of the new year.
Al-Marri reviewed, during the meeting, the services provided by both the Authority and the Department to citizens at the level of Dubai and the state as a whole, and the work structure, with a view to setting future plans that meet the aspiration of the leadership and its aspirations in order to achieve the desired goals of the path of citizen services.
Major General Al-Marri said, "This meeting represents the first step towards establishing a work system and policies that rise to the goals of the government within the path of citizen services, and they work with a one-team spirit and unremitting efforts to achieve the goals of the path in delivering quality services in accordance with the highest international standards."
He stressed that they are working according to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to achieve prosperity and well-being for citizens, citing His Highness' saying that the comfort and stability of the citizen and the happiness and prosperity of his family are priorities that represent the primary engine of the government's efforts with its constant endeavor to provide the foundations of a peaceful and dignified life for all members of society, while constituting Providing adequate housing is one of the most important priorities, as it constitutes the main pillar of family stability and social security.
