The trip over the seas is expected to take seven weeks and if everything goes according to plan, the gold bridge will arrive in Saltsjön around February 8, according to the City of Stockholm.
When the cargo ship Zhen Hua 33, which is 227 meters long and 43 meters wide, arrives in Stockholm, it will be lowered into the Saltsjön. While the bridge, which rests on pontoons, is towed to the quay, the ship is emptied of water so that it can hit again.
The installation of the bridge is planned to take two weeks.
