The Criminal Court in Sharjah sentenced six Asian people to seven years in prison, obliging them to pay the legal debt of 200,000 dirhams to the relatives of the victim, and deporting them from the country after the end of their punishment, after they were found guilty of participating in the killing of an African person, due to a dispute over the sale of alcohol in an industrial area.

During the previous hearings, the court heard the witnesses' statements in the case, as the first witness working in the investigations of Sharjah Police confirmed that a report was received from the Sajaa Police Station that the body of an unknown person was in the industrial zone, and immediately the security teams moved to the site of the accident, Another communication came to them at the same time, stating that an Asian person was hospitalized with foot injuries.

He continued, “Upon reaching the scene of the accident, it became clear that the killed person was an African, and the crime scene was summoned, and fingerprints taken, and it became clear that there was a link between the injured person in the hospital and the deceased. To his death, those involved in the crime, who were found to be because of a dispute over the sale of alcohol, were arrested.

The second witness, who works in Sharjah Police, said that the security teams found inside the vehicle of the defendants an ear ring, and they had traces of blood, and after examinations it was found that they belonged to the victim, in addition to that they found in the vehicle the iron cylinders that they used in the crime.
