03 January 2020 In Venice five people ended up in the water due to the sinking, the causes of which are currently unknown, of a small motor boat called, in the lagoon, the 'barchino'. The accident occurred in front of the island of Sacca Fisola which is an offshoot of Giudecca. The five were rescued by the crew of an ACTV public transport vaporetto that took them on board and warmed them. None reported serious damage but four of the five had to resort to the health care of Suem 118 for bruises and bruises reported in the sinking. On the spot also the firefighters, with their own divers, for the recovery of the sunken boat.
