A report issued by a team of international and regional experts, established by the United Nations Human Rights Council, revealed that Houthi militias committed grave human rights violations in Yemen, launched indiscriminate attacks, and directly targeted civilians in acts amounting to war crimes.

These militias have also used weapons with wide-ranging destructive effects, such as missiles, artillery, and mortars, which were deliberately directed at civilians and civilian objects, which led to their killing and wounding, except for the use of mines and explosive devices in populated areas, which killed large numbers of Yemenis.

The same report indicated that in the period from January to March of 2019, Houthi militias deliberately targeted civilians and infrastructure in al-Dhalea, and destroyed the homes of citizens in Hajjah in March 2019 without any military necessity, in addition to using landmines against individuals and vehicles, which It caused severe damage to humans and stone, especially in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Hodeidah and Taiz.

The mines laid by the Houthi militias, the Iranian arm in Yemen, in many governorates, are killing civilians heavily. The cultivation of this pest has turned into a culture in the custom of this terrorist group, given the severity of its damage and the magnitude of its losses, which is exactly what these militias aspire to.

The team of experts had confirmed that death boxes equipped and injured thousands of civilians, in Abyan, Al-Dhali ', Al-Bayda, Al-Jawf, Hajjah, Ibb, Marib, Sana'a, Saada and Shabwa, pointing to the involvement of anti-vehicle mines in killing the lives of citizens in Hodeidah, which is the most affected Yemeni mine.

This Houthi passion for destroying Yemen and exterminating its people has been matched by other efforts to get this country out of its stifling crisis. However, these efforts remain insufficient, in light of the fact that this coup group continues to grow its damned seeds in large quantities, which is exactly what the Director General of the "Pore Project", Osama Al-Qossabi, confirmed by saying that the great efforts made by "Pore" in removing the mines planted intensively by Houthi militias alone are not sufficient to secure Yemen from the threat of this epidemic, unless these efforts are strengthened by serious international positions, these militias are obliged to stop their cultivation and hand over their maps.

But despite this international laxity, the "Pore Project" continues its humanitarian mission with high morale and strong determination to achieve its noble goal, which was sent for it, and its engineering teams were able during the fourth week of December to remove 1604 mines and unexploded ordnance, bringing the total of what was removed since the beginning of the month Until the 29th of it to 8,751 mines, explosive devices and unexploded ordnance, bringing the total removed since the project was launched to 120,145.

This achievement, recorded by the "Pore Project", despite its importance, remains defective, unless serious and firm international positions are issued, obliging these Iranian-backed militias to stop planting mines to secure the Yemenis from the death buried under their soil.

Houthi militia mines are killing civilians heavily in several governorates.
