They set themselves an extraordinary challenge: the members of Rewild, an association which brings together seven NGOs, bought the zoo in Pont-Scorff, in Brittany, in the west of France, two weeks ago, with the aim of restore the structure, abandoned, and especially take care of the welfare of animals found in a deleterious state, to be able to subsequently reintroduce them in their natural environment.

To be able to offer them what has been taken from them, therefore freedom or sanctuarization. These are places in the natural environment where you can release wild animals that are safe from all the problems encountered in their natural environment today. […] We are on this approach to really open a new door, to offer - because it will be open to the public-, a new perspective on our relationship with the living. We must question ourselves…
