OL Groupe, the listed holding company controlling Olympique Lyonnais, will increase its stake in the capital of its new partner, the basketball club of ex-champion Tony Parker, Asvel, according to a press release published on Monday.

OL's participation in Asvel, a club historically linked to the city of Villeurbanne (suburb of Lyon), will drop from 25%, its level since the announcement at the end of June of the commitment of cooperation between the two sports entities, at 31.67%.

OL Groupe obtained these additional shares from "other shareholders" of Asvel, unidentified but who one could assume that it is Tony¨Parker himself, recently become the ambassador of the club on the market American.

The transferors will be remunerated in OL Groupe shares held in treasury by the group of Jean-Michel Aulas. They will obtain in exchange for their shares 275,657 OL Groupe shares, which, at the share's closing price on Monday, values ​​the transaction at just over 800,000 euros.

After this transaction, OL Groupe still holds more than 643,000 of its own shares, for a value close to 2 million euros.
