The growth dynamics of crimes in the field of information technology for three years is estimated at 165%.
In 2017, 66 thousand of them were committed, in 2018 - 175 thousand, in the nine months of 2019 - more than 200 thousand.
As Kurnosenko noted, the main array is composed of various types of fraud. They accounted for about half of all recorded crimes. The number of frauds in this area in 2019 increased by 40%. More than half is done using the Internet, more than a third is done using mobile communications, every tenth is done using bank cards.
