It is the result of the presidential ballot. At the challenger, the former Social Democratic premier, Viorica Dancila, 37.2%. Polls predict that the majority of the votes of Romanians abroad will go to Iohannis. The turnout has fallen (49.8%) compared to the first round (52%) and the run-off of the previous presidential elections in 2014 (54%).
