According to the police, a couple must have received a stone through the windshield, which resulted in a person being injured.

- We have not received any more serious personal injuries. But one person suffered minor injuries in one hand and received glass on the face. The person did not need ambulance care, says Thomas Agnevik.

"Recurring problem"

Police say the stones were probably thrown from a footbridge across the Söderleden.

- It has happened before and is a recurring problem, but not to this extent before what I know, says Thomas Agnevik.

Police are calling on road users who have been exposed to call them and they are also interested in observations that may have been made in connection with the incident.

- It is terribly nasty and dangerous of course. It's just a mere coincidence that there were no more serious personal injuries, says Thomas Agnevik.

At present, the police have no information on how many cars that have been thrown stones.
