Lebanese President Michel Aoun announced on Tuesday evening that parliamentary consultations to form a new government in Lebanon may start on Thursday, but we are waiting for answers from others. Aoun added: If the answers do not come, we will need a few days.

The Lebanese President pointed out that the demonstrators were invited to dialogue without receiving an answer from them. Aoun added that the people's demands are right, so the president responded to them and called for dialogue.

On the other hand, Aoun pointed out that work must be done on a three-point program for state-building: combating corruption, improving the economic situation, and establishing a civil state.

He pointed out that Lebanon today needs a coherent governance in order to develop an implementation plan, which must combat corruption, noting that there are people in Lebanon who have the competence to promote it.
