Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed was a politician who built good fraternal relations with the rulers of the Arabian Gulf region, thus laying the foundation stone for the modern city of Dubai.He was interested in urbanism and trade and was able to exploit all potentials for the benefit of his country.He established a special department for oil affairs, an aviation and judiciary department.
