Qatar News Agency reported that Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani discussed with British Foreign Secretary David Cameron efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

The agency stated that Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman and Cameron reviewed during a meeting in London - Wednesday - the cooperation relations between the two countries, ways to support and develop them, the latest developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, and the efforts aimed at reaching an immediate ceasefire in the Strip and providing protection for civilians. Ensuring the continued unhindered flow of humanitarian aid to those besieged in Gaza.

Earlier, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani warned against tampering with the aid issue and exploiting it for political blackmail by the Israeli occupation.

He said in statements to Al Jazeera that pressure was being exerted on Israel to bring aid into the northern Gaza Strip.

Since last October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza that has led to the death of more than 31,000 martyrs and 70,000 wounded, most of whom are women and children, in addition to the destruction of infrastructure and residential neighborhoods, and the starvation and displacement of the population of the Strip.
