Police, rescue services and an ambulance were sent to Örn in Sotenäs municipality during Friday after an alert about a drowning accident when a man was seen lying in the water next to a break.
The man was reported to be lifeless, and when he was found by the rescue services, it was found that the man had died.
There is no suspicion of crime in connection with the incident according to the police.
Relatives have been informed.
