Brazilian winger Raphinha has left Sporting Portugal to commit to the Stade Rennais against 21 million euros, announced the Portuguese club Monday night, confirming a first information of the Breton training that also hires the field midfielder Jonas Martin.

Raphinha, 22, a native of Porto Alegre, is a nice shot of President Olivier Létang closing the transfer window. He started at the Vitoria Guimaraes and has been playing in Lisbon since 2018, where he won last year's Portuguese Cup and League Cup with Sporting.

According to its release, Sporting will receive 10% of the amount of the capital gain on a possible resale of Raphinha.

This season, Raphinha has already scored two goals in four league games. Despite his young age, he has already played more than 100 matches in the pros and participated in two editions of the Europa League, for which Rennes qualified by winning the Coupe de France last April.

Transferred to Brittany for a sum approaching 5 million euros, according to sources close to the club, 29-year-old Jonas Martin, already has a solid experience of the elite, with 102 matches in Ligue 1 under the jersey of Montpellier, the club where he showed up, and 62 for RC Strasbourg, with which he won the last League Cup. He also spent briefly at Betis Sevilla (2016-17).
