+++ RUMORS +++

Tel is expected to remain in Munich until 2029

French striker Mathys Tel and FC Bayern Munich are reportedly close to extending their contract.

The 18-year-old will extend his contract until 2029, French media reported.

His current contract is dated June 30, 2027.

There had previously been rumors about the youngster's possible departure.

French media quoted statements by his advisor Gadiri Camara that one had to look at all options if one did not feel that one was on the same path.

Tel plays an important role in FC Bayern's future plans.

Sports director Max Eberl also emphasized this during his presentation last week.

On the one hand, we will look to find stars, said the new sports director.

But it is also important to develop good players like Tel.

Tel moved from Rennes to Munich in the summer of 2022 for a fee of around 20 million euros.

Borré is allowed to go

Loan striker Rafael Borré leaves Bundesliga club Werder Bremen and joins Internacional Porto Alegre.

The Brazilian first division team announced the immediate change on Tuesday evening.

The Colombian, who was frantically welcomed by fans at the airport in Porto Alegre, signed a contract until the end of 2028.

Borré's parent club Eintracht Frankfurt had already agreed with the Brazilians in January on a transfer in the summer.

Since the attacker was still on loan to Bremen for the second half of the season, negotiations between the three clubs were difficult.

On social media, fans and ultimately the Porto Alegre club had called for the 28-year-old to be released using the hashtag #FreeBorre.

Borré moved from Argentina to Frankfurt for the 2021/2022 season and won the Europa League with the club.

In the Sevilla final against Glasgow Rangers he scored the equalizer and then the decisive goal in the penalty shootout.

In the current season, Borré scored four times in 19 games.
