The man called for help at 3.30 pm on Saturday. The police decided to launch a mountain rescue operation.
The man was later picked up by ambulance helicopter from Aktse, where STF has a mountain cabin, to Gällivare hospital. At 19.30 the police told SVT that the operation had ended.
Aktse is an old mountain man, and is usually called the gate to Sarek National Park.
